Crowd Takes Over Capitol

At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night, a HUGE crowd showed up for the House public hearing on the possible elimination of federal deductibility. It was great. Everyone got these great red shirts that read, "No tax on a tax." Seeing the sea of red in the House gallery was great. Check out the video we shot below. We're hoping all these united voices will make an impact on the Democrats who want to eliminate federal deductibiliy.

This is just awesome. I heard the IFCRs were sending a bunch of students from Ames and Iowa City earlier this evening.

Keep up the great work! A tax on a tax is bleak news, thats for certain.

I've been listening online. Sounds like Murphy just cleared the gallery. Maybe that's a clue, Mr. Speaker. Maybe that's a clue that Iowans don't like your tax policy, and would like to have private business in this state.
